Elisha is a unique and talented Physiotherapist in that she holds a Masters in both Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy and has studied Clinical Pilates. Having studied such a broad range of applied science has enabled her to be at the forefront of physiotherapy for back pain, neck pain and headaches. Elisha has completed postgraduate study in both back pain and headache treatment. Along with Brigitte, Elisha has completed study in Clinical Pilates making it possible for all patients to naturally flow on to carefully and properly prescribed back pain exercises. These include exercises for pain relief, spinal decompression exercises and core stability exercises to improve trunk control, which are all essential parts of treating a low back problem.

Elisha has a special interest in nutrition and how this may affect the internal inflammatory climate and the normal repair processes in spinal conditions. Dealing at a deeper nutritional level helps provide an extra dimension in the management of chronic back pain, particularly where they are associated with other metabolic disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome and other digestive disorders.

Both Elisha and Brigitte have a passion for spinal surgery rehabilitation where they use there state of the art clinical pilates studio.

Brigitte Seelin (Coldicott)

Brigitte graduated from Sydney University with a Masters of Physiotherapy. She has a strong exercise rehab base having previously completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology from Wollongong University. Her passion is physiotherapy for low back pain treating complex spinal, pelvic and postural related neck and shoulder pain. Throughout her career she has seen how integral a healthy spine can be in the prevention of injury to all other parts of the body. Her approach is to find and treat the dysfunctions in alignment and movement patterns of the body rather than focusing and treating only the painful site.

Brigitte has a strong interest in spinal surgery rehabilitation where she can combine her back pain physiotherapy skills and her clinical pilates skills.

Hannah Alchin

We are so happy to have such a talented Physiotherapist join the Elite Spinal team. We were delighted to find Hannah who has studied the same courses at the same universities as us. Her broad base of knowledge, including both Sports Physiotherapy skills along with hospital based experience give her the ability to have a deep understanding of the whole patient journey. This will allow her to be able to provide excellent therapy for our many post-operative clients.

Hannah is very passionate about treating spinal conditions as she feels that she can make a big difference in peoples lives and well being. Being a high achiever she loves the challenge of treating complex spinal conditions and thrives on helping her clients get back to peak condition.

Hannah has studied Clinical Pilates and is a huge advocate for this method of exercising, as she became interested in Pilates after attending classes for her own health and fitness and couldn’t believe the results. Being an Exercise Physiologist as well as a Physiotherapist she loves using exercise to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

Cibele Pinheiro

Cibele is a dedicated musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who has an appreciation of people wanting to get back to their best. Like all the therapists at Elite Spinal, Cibele has a degree in both Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy. This allows her to assist with the whole rehabilitation journey, therefore getting the patient back to 100%.

Cibele has extensive experience in hands on manual therapy. She also combines her studies in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture and dry needling with the manual therapy to get the best possible outcomes for her patients. She has a special interest in treating TMJ issues and has completed extra studies in this area.

Before joining the team at Elite Spinal Physio, she has had extensive experience assessing and treating a wide range of injuries and chronic pain disorders. She is also highly experienced in all types of post-operative rehabilitation.

Cibele has acquired various skills over the years with continued education from courses. After developing a disc bulge in her own neck she developed a particular interest in managing neck pain, back pain and pelvic issues. Her passions for spinal conditions is what brought her here to Elite Spinal.

When Cibele is not working she will likely be at Bondi beach surfing or catching up with friends.

Our Practice Manager, Lisa comes to us with over ten years of business administration experience. Lisa’s bubbly personality will make your visit more enjoyable. Lisa’s love for cleanliness and organisation keeps the clinic in immaculate condition and ensures we are able to provide exceptional customer service to our clients. She manages the Elite Spinal admin team, keeping the many parts of the practice running smoothly.

When she is not in the practice she is usually enjoying one of the many beautiful beaches in the Eastern Suburbs or working on her next art work.

Charmaine Ridge

Charmaine completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Western Sydney in 2013. In 2014, she became a Rehabilitation Pilates Instructor through Polestar Pilates International. Since then, Charmaine has developed a diverse range of experience, working with a range of clientele with both acute and chronic injury rehabilitation.

Charmaine’s passion and drive to become a physiotherapist came from when she was a competitive gymnast competing at a state, national and international level. She attended Physiotherapy for injury management, prevention and to enhance her sporting performance.

She also has been actively involved with coaching gymnastics and acrobatic gymnastics in the Sutherland Shire area since 2001. She also has a background in Personal Training.

Charmaine is always looking to improve and develop as a Physiotherapist in finding new and diverse ways to treat her patients. She has done post-graduate study in Sports Physiotherapy, Dry needling, Muscle Energy Techniques and Connect Therapy.

In her spare time she enjoys rock climbing, dancing and gymnastics.  And Pilates of course 😉

Heather Morton

Heather is an enthusiastic physiotherapist with a wealth of knowledge and experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Her physiotherapy background is mainly back and neck pain and sports injuries. Her experience ranges from occupational health for the police force to international dinghy sailing to ultra-distance and endurance events providing physiotherapy treatment and sports massage for athletes of all ages and levels. In Scotland she worked with club rugby union and international rugby 7s teams and since arriving in Sydney, she has also worked with a Premier Division AFL team.

Heather believes that providing a holistic approach to treatment is key to a successful recovery and appreciates the important role we as physiotherapists play in health promotion. Heather is constantly developing as a clinician and really enjoys a new challenge. She prides herself on providing the best evidence based treatment to ensure the best possible outcome for each individual. Since graduating from her Physio degree in Scotland, Heather has completed post graduate study in Sports Massage, Rehab Pilates, TMJ (jaw pain), Western Medical Acupuncture and dry needling.

Heather grew up skiing and spent a season working as a massage therapist and chalet host for a luxury holiday company in the French Alps. This experience has given her a keen eye for detail and she prides herself in providing the highest level of customer service.

She has a keen interest in jaw pain(temporomandibular joint disorders), having worked as a dental nurse while studying,  she has completed specialist training in this area.
